Does Your Child Struggle?
Is your child having problems in school? Does he/she have difficulty listening, following directions, or doing homework? He/she may fight frustration every day and may even have been called lazy, unmotivated, or ?a student at risk??
If this has been said about your child, the real problem may not be a lack of motivation or proper instruction. Rather, he/she may lack sufficient processing skills. In other words, your child may be able to see or hear information, but cannot identify, interpret, comprehend, remember, or stay on task.
If you have a struggling student in your family, call us. The expertise of skilled professionals is required to identify and treat learning difficulties such as these. Our Processing and Cognitive Enhancement (PACE) program is an intense, proven training method that strengthens underlying cognitive skills. We train the entire learning system to function properly.
PACE is designed to help children and adults, age six and older, improve their weak underlying learning skills. PACE targets these learning difficulties through a one-on-one program. The program focuses on improving attention (selective and divided), memory (working and long-term), processing speed, visual and auditory processing, logic and reasoning, and planning. Significant gains will be seen in this twelve-week program, helping the student learn easier and faster. PACE is an appropriate program for students having difficulty learning in one of the following ways:
- paying attention
- learning to read or spell (struggles to sound out words)
- slow with math facts
- does not complete assignments
- memory
- comprehending or understanding
- working too hard for what is achieved
If you feel your child is having idfficulty in any of these areas or you want to learn more about PACE feel free to contact me at Kidworks or visit http://cpugh.processingskills.com.
